Rooting

Rooting refers to the process of gaining administrative or root access to a device, typically a smartphone or tablet that runs on the Android operating system. This allows the user to bypass restrictions imposed by manufacturers or carriers, enabling them to modify the system settings, install unapproved apps, and make deeper alterations to the device's software. Rooting can enhance a device's capabilities but may void warranties, expose the system to security vulnerabilities, or cause malfunction if not done properly. It is akin to jailbreaking in the context of iOS devices.
