Keyboard
A keyboard is a peripheral input device that uses a set of keys or buttons to send data to a computer or other electronic device. It is primarily used for typing text, entering commands, and performing various functions. Keyboards can be physical, featuring mechanical or membrane keys, or virtual, displayed on touchscreens. Each key corresponds to a specific character or function, with common keys including letters, numbers, and special symbols, as well as control keys like Shift, Ctrl, and Alt. Keyboards come in various layouts, with the QWERTY layout being the most widely used. They may also include additional features such as multimedia controls and backlighting.
