Face ID
Face ID is a facial recognition technology developed by Apple Inc. that enables users to unlock their devices, authorize payments, and access secure applications using their face as a biometric identifier. It utilizes a sophisticated array of sensors, including a front-facing camera, infrared sensors, and a dot projector, to accurately map and recognize the unique features of a person's face. Face ID works by creating a detailed 3D model of the user's face and comparing it to the stored data to authenticate the user. This technology enhances security by being resistant to spoofing attempts, as it can differentiate between a real face and photographs or masks. Face ID is primarily used in Apple's iPhone and iPad products.
