Airplane Mode
Airplane Mode is a setting available on smartphones, tablets, and other electronic devices that disables all wireless communication functions. When activated, it turns off cellular data, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and any other forms of wireless transmission, preventing the device from sending or receiving signals. The primary purpose of Airplane Mode is to comply with airline regulations that prohibit the use of wireless communications during flights, helping to eliminate the possibility of interference with the aircraft's navigation and communication systems. Despite disabling these connections, many devices allow users to turn Wi-Fi or Bluetooth back on individually while still keeping Airplane Mode activated, enabling limited connectivity without violating regulations.
